I had 2 bottles today. One at
11am and one at 11pm.
They pull the feeding tube out when I get a bottle so I can now
get pictures without tape on my chin.

4 lbs 9 oz
I drank a full bottle today. I'll get another bottle
tomorrow, then start with 2 a day, then 3 and so on until I am
off the feeding tube.
The eye doctor came for a visit and said my eyes are doing good.
Mommy gave me a bath today. I needed the bath and enjoyed most
of it. |

I drank from a bottle for the first time today. I only
had half of the bottle before I got tired. It is hard work
breathing and eating. I will practice more tomorrow. |

They had to tape my feeding
tube to the top of my mouth because I keep pulling it out. I get
a little grabby from time to time.
Other than that, I am doing great.

I'm going to leave the Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit
(NICU) and move to the stepdown unit any day now. I almost moved
today, but there are more empty beds in the NICU than there are
in the step down unit. |
I'm in a "Big Boy" bed. My old bed is now empty.

10 Weeks 5 Days
Big day today. I have a new
bed. My old bed was heated so I didn't need to work extra hard
to keep warm. I will now need to maintain my own body
temperature. If I can keep my temperature up, I will get to keep
my new "Big Boy" bed.
My Mommy got to hold me again
today. I do well when I am getting held, so my parents get to
hold me almost every visit.
Update: I am still in my "Big Boy" bed as of 1am on July 5. I'm
keeping my temperature up. They even had to remove some blankets
because I was a little warm.
